Jackets should ONLY be dry cleaned. Do not Iron Jackets. Water wash will damage both the jacket and the fur.
Store jackets in a dry dark place. Horizontal storage recommended.
PREPARATION / SUBSTANCE ARCTIC TECH
The fabric is a cotton / polyester blend, called Arctic Tech or Commander . The fabric is windproof, it is treated with Teflon to make the surface extremely water repellent. Note; that jacket is not waterproof. The jacket may fade after use and dry cleaning.
This is natural and is caused by normal wear, the fabric content of cotton and the fabric is dyed in Canada, where environmental requirements are very strict.
We only use down of Canadian origin and very high quality. ‘Down’ processing is closely controlled by Canadian Down and Feather Association. Read more about Canadian Down and Feather Association here.
Note: There may be slight leakage of down due to certain designs after long wear. This is purely cosmetic and has no effect on the functionality of the product.
Fur from the jackets comes from the animals commonly known as the prairie wolf (Canis Latranis). It is a wild-animal that is only found in North America. It is not an endangered species and hunting coyotes is governed by strict regulations act as stock care. The coat has a function and not only a decorative purpose. Genuine fur can during wintry conditions provide warmth and protection against cold, wind and snow as artificial fur can not. The sleeves are knitted, therefore, they will run if they are stuck in something sharp.
